Project Stampe SV4-RS

The Stampe SV4-RS is a light sports replica of the legendary Stampe-Vertongen SV4b from the 1930s.

 

Almost ten years ago we bought the original drawings.

The Stampe SV4-RS has been developed from scratch and only shares the hull with its role model.

 

In order to conform to microlight certification standards, the empty weight had to be reduced from 560 kg to 295 kg while keeping the dimensions at scale 1:1.

Therefore the complete airplane structure had to be redesigned.

Certification Status

Currently the following variants are certified in Germany, France and Belgium:

  • Stampe SV4-RS with Rotax 912 UL (80 PS) and Hercules Propeller

The following variants are awaiting type certification:

  • Stampe SV4-RS with Rotax 912 ULS (100 PS) - now in flight testing!
  • Stampe SV4-RS with Parma-Technik Mikron IIIC
